This site is built with Astro because a technical notebook does not need a complex backend.
Markdown provides a simple way to write and maintain technical notes while Astro turns the content into a fast static website.
Why a static site?
For documentation and technical notes, most content does not need to be generated dynamically.
A static build provides:
- Simple deployment
- Low hosting requirements
- Good performance
- Version-controlled content
- Markdown-based authoring
The source of each note lives in Git alongside the website code.
